My name is Pui Yin Fandy Au. I come from Hong Kong, China, and I’ve been living in New Zealand for 20 years. My mother tongue is Cantonese, but I can also speak Mandarin.

I first learned English back in Hong Kong during secondary school, where the focus was more on academic English. After so many years, I wanted to refresh my knowledge and practice more, so I joined DynaSpeak. The location is very convenient for me, which makes it easier to keep up with my studies.

Here at DynaSpeak, I am studying NZCEL Level 3 Applied General. I get to practise English in many ways — reading, listening, and doing exercises — which helps me improve step by step.

What I enjoy most is the chance to meet new friends. Getting to know different people and sharing experiences has been one of the best parts of my time here.

For me, learning English is not only about improving my skills but also about connecting with others. That makes the journey more meaningful.
