My name is Yamam Melli. I arrived in New Zealand in February 2025 and I’m originally from Syria. My first language is Arabic, and I learned English previously at an Arabic school.

I heard about DynaSpeak through my friends, who recommended it as a great place to study. I also liked that the courses are free for residents. After a one-week trial, I decided to continue, and I have now been studying here for 17 weeks. I’m currently in NZCEL Level 2A, and Cathy is a very good teacher.

Studying at DynaSpeak is very different from school back home. English is spoken everywhere, not just in the classroom, which helps me learn faster and more naturally. The environment is active, friendly, and encouraging, and I always feel supported by both teachers and classmates.

I am a maths teacher, and my goal is to become a teacher in New Zealand. I hope to take more courses at DynaSpeak to support my future plans. DynaSpeak is a very good place where people are kind and helpful.
