My name is Gina, and I have been living in New Zealand for 12 years. I’m originally from China and I speak Mandarin. I learned English at school back in China, and before joining DynaSpeak, I also attended a church English class once a week.

I decided to join DynaSpeak because I wanted to further improve my English. I am currently studying NZCEL Level 4A this semester. I feel that DynaSpeak is very professional, and there is definitely more homework compared to my previous classes. It has challenged me, but in a good way.

Since studying here, my writing skills and accuracy have improved a lot. I feel more confident expressing my ideas in English.

My goals are to find a job, speak English fluently, and eventually become a finance analyst. I also want to understand English news and social media content more easily. For now, I plan to finish my English courses at DynaSpeak first, and then take more specific courses related to my career in the future.

One of my most memorable moments was during Level 3 with my teacher Hannah. One day, I forgot my coat on campus, and she ran after me to return it. I felt very touched. She is very kind and humble.

I’m also grateful for my classmates because they are all hardworking, and we support each other in our learning journey.
