My name is Phoebe, and I have been living in New Zealand for five years. I am originally from the north of China. 

Before coming to New Zealand, I had some basic English from university. I also studied at a language training centre in Shenzhen for two years while working, as I needed to communicate with clients from Hong Kong.

I chose to study at DynaSpeak after hearing about it from a friend. This semester, I am studying Level 4 Employment English. My experience here has been quite different from my previous studies. Compared to the language centre in Shenzhen, DynaSpeak is more structured and includes formal assessments, which really motivate me to stay focused and improve. I appreciate how systematic the course is, as it helps me build my English skills more thoroughly.

Studying here has helped me gain confidence and prepare for my next step. I now feel ready to pursue further study, and I am planning to enrol in an IT bootcamp next year.

My long-term goal is to build a career in IT, and improving my English is an important step towards achieving that.
