My name is Sanglae Kim. I am originally from Korea and have been living in New Zealand for 20 years. My mother tongue is Korean, and I can also speak a little Japanese. Before coming to New Zealand, my English was very basic, mainly learned during high school in Korea.

I chose to study at DynaSpeak because my daughter found the school on Google and recommended it to me. This semester, I have been studying at Foundation Level 1. I haven’t studied at any other language schools before, so this has been a completely new experience for me.

Since joining, my English has been improving gradually. Although the progress is not huge, I can now use simple English to communicate, especially in speaking, which has made a big difference in my daily life.

My long-term goal is to improve my English so I can communicate better with my passengers, as I work as a bus driver. I want to provide a better experience for them, and I will continue practising my English after finishing my studies to achieve this goal.
